The Middle East Chapter (ASSE-MEC) was the first chapter established outside the United States in 1982 and since then has held several conferences and technical meetings in the Gulf region. These conferences and meetings have attracted many well known international speakers, a variety of exhibitors, as well as a large number of attendees. The broad range of subjects addressed, the sharing of knowledge among delegates, and the resulting discussions made these conferences a success. ASSE-MEC is committed to hold a conference every other year to promote SH&E in the Gulf Region.
